Lake Panasoffkee is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sumter County, Florida, United States. The Lake Panasoffkee park and preserve protects 9,911 acres (40.11 km2) and offers birdwatching, biking, camping, horseback riding, fishing, hiking and hunting. It is accessed from the south side of State Route 44 two miles (3 km) west of Interstate 75. Similar recreational opportunities (except no biking) are also offered at the 1,118-acre (4.52 km2) Panasoffkee Outlet park and preserve. Both areas are protected by the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
