Value, Variety, Convenience and Quality at Jupiter's Fitness Redefined

Get and stay in shape with the help of Fitness Defined (FR) in Jupiter. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach to health and fitness, clients of this six-year-old gym receive personal training and food coaching programs, along with small, high-energy group classes. Co-Owner Marissa Lavin believes, "We all deserve the type of care that helps us through the inevitable hurdles that pop up and fitness sessions that heal us from the inside out; allowing us to get the most out of our lives."

FR promises "value, variety, convenience and quality." The value is in affordable pricing where you only pay for the amenities that you actually use. Variety is shown in the combination of both "trendy" big-city classes that are so popular now, such as Barre, with personal training geared toward each client.

Convenience is their 30-minute workout sessions that acknowledge that today's clients are busy and don't have time for lengthy workouts to achieve the results they want. "Whether the goal is to lose weight, heal back pain or improve a golf swing, one-on-one attention with a FR movement specialist ensures that clients get maximal results from time spent working out and in less time than conventional workouts," notes Lavin.

"FR is a fitness family," explains Lavin "where highly educated and specialized trainers lead clients down a road to lasting health success." Providing quality trainers is important to FR, where class size is limited to 10 allowing trainers to adequately assess and guide each client toward their fitness and weight goals. Training is even available for pregnant women and kids.

"The term 'lifestyle change' is thrown around often in this industry, so it often feels as though experts downplay the difficulty and complexity of this process," Lavin tells us. "At FR we never lead the client to the 'quick path', as there is little learning in a flash-in-the-pan experience and any success attained will not last. Instead, we hold our clients' hands, helping them achieve success the right way, one step at a time."

Fitness success, teaches FR, means clients must learn to check their attitudes and anxieties at the door and connect with fellow gym/class members. Everyone is different and they truly want members to create mutual ties around their workout experiences. Community events such as recreational softball and kickball leagues, walks/runs/workouts for various causes, flash mobs, were created to show that FD walks the walk in fostering mutual connections within the community.
