The Sky is the Limit at The Diva-Licious Cake House

Who doesn't love a deliciously fluffy, fresh piece of cake baked from scratch? It's one of the most popular foods in the world, and yet, attaining the perfect consistency, flavor, and texture can be quite elusive to many a pastry chef.

For Marian Meyers, owner of The Dive-Licious Cake House in Lake Worth, Florida her time-tested recipes, detailed preparation, and quality ingredients are the three pillars that make for a winning cake. She likes to put a gourmet spin on some classic recipes.

"Our cakes are made fresh, from scratch, using all natural [and] high quality ingredients," Meyers said. "You will find no hydrogenated fat or trans-fats here; only sugar, flour, butter, chocolate, and eggs."

The Diva-Licious Cake House doesn't only use natural ingredients to make its cakes; it takes them up a notch with high-end Callebaut chocolate and cocoa powder as well as Satin Ice rolled fondant, which is kosher and gluten free. As someone who has devoted her life to pastries, Meyers wants to share her culinary passion with the public through exceptional ingredients, decadent flavor, and customized themes. For over three and a half years, the bakery has sweetened the lives of locals and tourists alike. About one year ago, Meyers opened her second location in Jupiter.

"Each of our cakes is a custom creation where [I] and the customer discuss in detail their vision," she said. "Everything is made from scratch, no cakes are ever frozen [and] in the end, our customers are so excited to see their cake and then to share the creation with friends and family."

In addition to offering gluten-free and kosher products, the shop also makes sugar-free and dairy-free sweets. Nearly any dietary restriction can be accommodated by the chef and the presentation and flavor are really up to the imagination of the customer. Meyers sketches the concept of the cake at hand and then works with her decorators to bring it to life. At Diva-Licious, the possibilities are endless.

The shop can prepare cakes for almost any occasion, but are most frequently commissioned for birthdays, weddings, graduations, and bridal showers. Flavors span the gamut. Expect to find the traditional essences such as vanilla, chocolate devil's food, red velvet, and lemon pound. The fluffy coconut, banana, cappuccino, and pumpkin spice enliven the selection of cake flavors.

Equally delicious, cake fillings include Dulce de Leche, hazelnut, pineapple, Nutella buttercream, and even guava. A delectable selection of traditional and unexpected flavors coupled with personalized service set apart this special bake shop.
