S3 Restaurant Introduces a New and Exciting Concept in Dining

Fort Lauderdale is without a doubt the prime locale for beaching it up and experiencing all the Sunshine State has to offer. S3 Restaurant specifically combines the state's most recognizable features, sun, surf, and sand, and uniquely combines it with steak, seafood, and sushi. Drawing on the area's upscale resort feel, S3 goes above and beyond in offering the finest oceanfront dining experience on the coast.

The Owners of S3 are no stranger to the restaurant game, which is apparent in their attention to detail and current trends. Their previous experiments have created some of South Florida's hottest restaurants, including YOLO and O Lounge, Tarpon Bend, Fork & Balls and Boatyard. Although these are popular hotspots across the state, the restaurateurs (also known as The Restaurant People, or TRP) wanted to create something entirely different with S3. Their inspiration was simple: To provide guests with the ultimate in oceanfront dining, offering patrons fresh coastal cuisine and the closest spot to the ocean anywhere along Fort Lauderdale beach.

Tim Petrillo, President and co-founder of TRP, says, "Our team works hard to ensure that our restaurants are highly popular among tourists and locals by providing great service, delicious food and a fun atmosphere, and S3 takes it to a whole new level." And he's not kidding. You won't find another restaurant that provides the proximity to sun, surf, and sand that is available to patrons of S3. The coastal-based eatery plays on their location, submerging guests in a island-chic retreat feel.

The entire space possesses open ocean views and includes an indoor/outdoor bar and terraced dining, a lush outdoor patio with fire pits, and custom-designed, ultra-comfortable lounge seating. Even the textures and hues utilized elicit the same calming, natural feel of coastal living- complete with exotic island stone, warm tropical wood, woven fabrics, and driftwood.

"Drawing from its upscale-casual, resort-like ambiance and décor, the S3 dining concept blends a dynamic variety of cuisines to create an oceanfront dining experience like no other", according to a press release. This dining experience involves a completely one-of-a-kind menu not seen before in a restaurant establishment, adding to its attractiveness.

The S3 menu is designed to be completely shareable and is crafted from a combination of traditional foodie favorites, rotating specials, and seasonal offerings, all of which are inspired by coastal cuisine and the sea. "I think that the sharable concept and the wide variety of unique flavor combinations and cuisine we offer is a big part of what keeps patrons coming back for more," stated TRP Co-Founder and Executive Chef Peter Boulukos, when asked what he believed led to the immense popularity of the ocean front business.

Launched in May of 2013, S3 has continued to grow in reputation, matching Fort Lauderdale's chic and trendy pulse head on. Located on the ground floor of the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, S3 provides convenient access to lodging, beach front views, and creative dinner options.
