Dance and Dine Without Missing a Beat at Pavilion Grille

By Elizabeth R. Elstien

Pavilion Grille offers Boca Raton and area residents an atmosphere they won't soon forget. Rated "Best Food" on a wedding episode of the television show "Four Weddings," this restaurant is the premier place to dine and dance to live music of all types under the transparent glass walls and ceiling.

Marketing Director Liz Stark Perez describes the spot as "the only stand-alone facility to comfortably fit 250 people under alluring high glass ceilings in our Atrium. The live music Tuesday through Saturday makes this a unique place to hold any private or corporate event."

The music varies five nights a week, so there is something for almost anyone. Perez exclaims, "Popular music is played from all genres ? 50s doo wop, classic rock, disco, Latin, salsa, swing, ballroom dancing and more!" Check their online calendar for music played on any given night.

"Overlooking our 2000 square foot dance space is an unenclosed bar area surrounded by tables and booths for an airy feel," describes Perez. "We are delighted to be able to offer dining and dancing discounts throughout the week with a cover charge of only $10, which includes a house drink or can be used toward a $20 food and beverage purchase." That charge increase to $15 on ballroom-dancing nights, but includes house drink plus snacks and dessert.

The dancing isn't the only draw here. After all, the establishment does have a "Best Food" rating. Pavilion Grille focuses on American ?style dishes using USDA Prime Beef served in the private Grille Room. Menu items include Blackened Rib Eye Steaks, fresh Cedar-Planked Salmon, Grilled Mahi-Mahi, Lump Blue Crab Cakes, Churrasco Chicken, along with pastas and garden-fresh salads. Popular dishes are their Sonoma Salad (crisp romaine, baby greens, craisins, gorgonzola, apples, and walnuts with raspberry vinaigrette), Asian Salad and Southern Crab Bisque.

Pavilion Grille specializes in wedding, birthdays and other private celebrations or corporate events either in their Atrium or the more private Grille Room that seats 60. Often booked for private parties, call ahead or check their blackout dates online to see if the restaurant is open before heading out the door.

The restaurant provides a different destination for those after-work happy hours where you can end the day with a beer or spiked Italian, Mexican or other coffee drink. Their New Year Celebration features a buffet dinner, deluxe dessert table with ice cream bar, champagne at midnight and, of course, live music and dancing under the stars until the wee hours to a music mix of Motown, Oldies, Latin and Ballroom.

"If you are looking for an exciting, upbeat and unrivaled dining experience", Perez exclaims "Pavilion Grille is the right place to go!"
