Clearwater is well-known for its gorgeous beaches, and as a hit tourist destination, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Another Broken Egg is a breakfast spot that works to make breakfast "the most crave-able meal of the day," according to its General Manager, Meagan Hodge. With fresh and unique recipes, Another Broken Egg is not just "another" breakfast place.
Ron Green, the founder of Another Broken Egg, wants to do more than make great food. Hodge promises, "The goal of each of our restaurants is to create a home away from home. To be very warm and inviting- we want you to feel like you are on vacation or with family!" Since the first Broken Egg Café opened in 1996, Green's top priorities have been creativity, freshness, and quality. His menu offers tasty, locally-sourced meals, with everything made in-house. Green is a Louisiana native whose delicious recipes reflect his Southern Creole upbringing. The café aims to take traditional dishes and turn them into exceptionally unique creations.
One of these creations is the popular Black Bean Benedict (pictured above). A spin on the classic Eggs Benedict, this delicious breakfast treat is comprised of a stack of black bean cakes, grilled tomatoes, and two poached eggs, all covered with chipotle hollandaise and topped with fresh cilantro.
For diners who crave something sweet but cannot decide between a cinnamon roll and french toast, there's a combination. The Cinnamon Roll French Toast (pictured below) is a thick, sliced cinnamon roll grilled with French toast batter for the best of both tastes. The dish is layered with cream cheese icing, Bananas Foster sauce, some mixed berries, and whipped cream.
The café's website promises that the restaurant is "designed to feel like a casual getaway with a generous side of family, friends and friendly service." Another Broken Egg's philosophy is "Nothing Short of Right is Right," and it credits this motto with its success. As a customer-focused restaurant, the food is only part of the fun and cozy experience. After one visit, vacationers and locals alike will surely be hooked on Another Broken Egg's "crave-able" menu.
